A primer—on a Montana stream—customized to the guest’s. Interests. Chan’s teaching is founded on long Rocky Mountain experience and his teaching is delivered with humor and passion. Topics can include knots, gear, casting, stream reading, tactics, seeing what you are looking at, trout food, angling ethics, riparian biology plus catch and release methods. |

Transportation & Accommodations:
Several major Airlines serve Bozeman and Billings. Big Timber has a paved and lighted airport. By car, Big Timber is about 50 minutes east of Bozeman and 75 minutes West of Billings.
A number of hotels, bed and breakfasts, and rental properties are located in the area. In town we recommend The Grand Hotel and The Homestead Bed and Breakfast 406-932-3033. Contact Chan to discuss these and some on-the-water options.
